Surprisingly, this photo was not taken on a cold day. Rather, it was a hot day, a very hot day, and humid!  It was at the top station (708 metres above sea level) of a cable car on the Malaysian island Langkawi. The guide books promised us amazing 360 degree views of Langkawi, and even Southern Thailand. In some respects I was silently relieved that the view wasn’t available as this bridge is suspended between two mountains and I’m sure my legs would’ve turned to jelly if the sheer drop below was visible. Plus the mist provided a rare photo opportunity in itself.

If you are spending time on Langkawi the Langkawi Cable Car is a must see!

  1. What a surreal photo. I would have thought it was a cold day until I read your post.
