On a recent trip to Canada I had the pleasure of visiting Chudleighs Apple Farm.  If you’re travelling through the Toronto area with young children Chudleighs is a great place to visit, especially during the Fall months when the air is crisp, the leaves on the trees have burst into fiery hues, the apples are ripe for the picking, and Thanksgiving and Halloween festivities fill the air. Located in Milton, Onatario, the farm is roughly an hour drive from Toronto, and is open from July 1st until October 31st.

We had a lovely sunshine filled afternoon with our toddler picking apples, playing in the pumpkin patch, petting and feeding the farm animals, riding on the hay wagon and playing in the super duper playground with a straw maze and slides. We eventually stopped for a country lunch in the waterfall dining area. Chudleighs also has a shop where you can purchase their tasty products, needless to say we returned to Toronto with bags of fresh apples, apple crumble and pumpkin pie – YUM!
